The Department of Justice Ireland, Home Affairs and Migration has created a series of short videos to help children better understand family changes like separation or divorce.
The videos feature bespoke animations and are aimed at children aged 8-12 years.
The Department collaborated with the Departments of Children, Disability and Equality, and Education and Youth, as well as agency partners including the Courts Service, Legal Aid Board and Cuan.
This collaboration helped to shape the content, language, and delivery of the resources, and ensures they reflect the real experiences and needs of children navigating family change.
