Minister for Children, Disability, and Equality Norma Foley – TD has announced 49 new Parenting Peer Support projects for 2026.
Parent peer support helps reduce isolation, encourages connection, and empowers parents — especially those raising children with complex needs or mental health challenges.
Funding for the Supporting Parents Peer Support Fund has increased to €152,500, with grants of up to €5,000 for organisations supporting parents and carers.
