Annual Invitation to Tender: Before & After School Childcare Service
The Board of Management of Eyrecourt National School invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced childcare providers for the operation of a Before and After School Childcare Service on the school premises.
The Board is seeking proposals from interested providers to operate the service under a new licensing arrangement for the 2026/2027 school year.
The successful tenderer will operate the service as an independent provider under licence from the school and in compliance with all relevant regulations and safeguarding requirements.
Tender Requirements:
Applicants must demonstrate:
- Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Care and Education
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a childcare setting
- Experience in managing or delivering school-age childcare services
- Capacity to operate and manage the service independently
- Compliance with all regulatory and child protection requirements
Service Proposal:
- As part of the tender submission, applicants are required to outline their proposed approach to delivering the service, including:
- The structure and daily operation of the service
- Activities and supports for children
- Staffing arrangements
- How they will enhance and develop the service, including any added value, new ideas, or improvements they would bring
