Always Children First: Child Safeguarding Awareness Training Foundation Level
Children First is National Guidance that promotes the protection of children from abuse and neglect. It states what organisations need to do to keep children safe, and what different bodies and the general public should do if they are concerned about a child’s safety and welfare.
This accredited training course will enable participants to
- Gain a deeper knowledge and understanding of how to recognise and respond to child protection and welfare concerns.
- Consider child-centred practice as a key part of child safeguarding and how you might implement child centred practice.
- Gain a clear understanding of your role and responsibilities in relation to keeping children safe and promoting their welfare to enable them to achieve their full potential
Participants must complete both the E Learning Children First Programme and the Mandated E Learning prior to attending this training. If your current E-Learning certs are older than 12 months it must be refreshed.
