Ballycommon Preschool are now recruiting for a early years PRACTITIONER to join our TEAM as room leader
This role will also include duties of being Person in charge
Hours: 19 hours per week (mornings)
Early Years Practitioner Room Leader required for a busy community playschool.
✅Interested candidates must have minimum QQI level 6 qualification in ECCE or
higher
✅Commencing September 2026 in Ballycommon Community Playschool, Kilmurry
Cross, Tullamore
✅19 hours weekly – Monday to Friday – 9.00-12.30 p.m. daily
✅ Hourly rate: €18
Responsibilities include:
❗Ensuring the individual needs of children are identified and met.
❗Assess and plan for children’s learning based on their interests and needs.
❗Ability to work within a team.
❗Knowledge and awareness of early year’s regulations, relevant legislation and policies.
Successful applicant will need his/her own transport.
