Your local City/County Childcare Committee (CCC) also remain available to assist you in completing your Service Profile.
May Review and Confirm
The Core Funding May Review and Confirm window is now open until 14 May 2026.
This process ensures Core Funding payments continue by allowing Partner Services to check their most recent application information.
Partner Services can then choose to:
- Review and Confirm with Changes
- Review and Confirm without Changes
Partner Services with an approved May Review and Confirm record will have the option to auto-populate their original Core Funding Application Module for the 2026/2027 programme year to help reduce administration. More information will be provided soon.
Before completing the Review and Confirm, Partner Services should:
- Make sure data captured in the Service Profile is accurate and up to date for the 2025/2026 programme year.
- Make sure your most recent Core Funding application status is ‘Approved.’ If your application is at ‘Referred back’, you must address the reason for refer back and then complete the May Review and Confirm process.
If you have an Update Due Date populated on your most recently ‘Approved’ Core Funding application record, on or before the 14 May, prior to the date you complete the Review and Confirm process, you must action this as part of your Review and Confirm by selecting the ‘Review and Confirm with Changes’ option, either replacing the departed staff member or reducing capacity.
If a Partner Service does not complete the Review and Confirm process within the required time frame, Core Funding payments will be placed on hold until such a time as the process is completed. Failure to complete the Review and Confirm may result in Core Funding applications being declined.
If your service requires support, additional resources are available under the Help and Support section on the Early Years Hive.
Regards,
The Early Years Team
