Applications for the 2026/2027 Nurturing Skills Learner Fund (NSLF) opens on 10th March

Applications for the Nurturing Skills Learner Fund (NSLF) for the academic year 2026/2027 opens today, 10 March 2026 at 1 pm and will close on 1 May 2026 at 5 pm.

The Nurturing Skills Learner Fund (NSLF) is co-funded by the European Union through the European Social Fund+ and by the Government Ireland through the Employment, Inclusion, Skills and Training programme (EIST) 2021-27.

NSLF aims to assist early year’s educators to pursue early learning and care (ELC) qualifications at level 7 and level 8 that have been approved by the Qualifications Advisory Board (QAB) while continuing to work in the sector.

How to Apply

Applications are submitted via the NSLF student portal.

You can obtain a link to register on the NSLF student portal by sending a request to NSLF@pobal.ie.
